Krištof Kintera, born in 1973, completed his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in 1999 and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam in 2004. His works have been presented at Museum Tinguely in Basel, Switzerland, the Kunsthal in Rotterdam, Galerie Rudolfinum in Prague, the Maramotti Collection in Reggio Emilia, Italy, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Kraków, Poland, Palais de Tokyo in Paris, France, the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp in Belgium, the Künstlerhaus Bethanien arts center in Berlin, the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, and Casino Luxembourg. Kintera is a three-time nominee for the Jindrich Chalupecký Award. He lives and works in Prague and is represented by Galerie Ron Mandos Amsterdam.
