Amélie Laurence Fortin

(Quebec City, Quebec)

Amélie Laurence Fortin completed a bachelor’s degree in 2004 and a master’s degree in 2011 in visual arts at Laval University. Since then, her work has been exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Kraków, Poland, Manif d’art — The Quebec City Biennial, the Sporobole Center in Sherbrooke, Galerie B-312 in Montreal and the Museu de Arte de Belém in Brazil. In 2017 she took part in the Arctic Circle Residency Program and exhibited the corpus she created at AXENÉO7 in Gatineau. Her works are part of collections at the Desjardins Group, Cirque du Soleil, and the City of Lévis. She lives and works in both Quebec City and Warsaw.
