Oliver Beer

(London, England)

Oliver Beer, born in 1985, lives and works in London and Paris. Initially trained as a composer, he later graduated from Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, Oxford University. He also has a master’s in cinematography and audiovisual studies from the Université Paris-Sorbonne. His work has been exhibited at Ikon Gallery (Birmingham), the Palais de Tokyo, the Fondation Louis Vuitton and the Centre Pompidou (Paris), the Musée d’art contemporain de Lyon, and the 21st Bienniale of Sydney. He has been awarded the Saatchi Gallery’s New Sensations Prize and the Daiwa Foundation Art Prize.
