Kelly Mark

(Welland, Ontario)

Born in Welland, Nova Scotia, in 1967, Kelly Mark, holds a bachelor’s degree in visual arts with a minor in art history from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, graduating in 1994. She has exhibited her work at Diaz Contemporary in Toronto, the Ikon Gallery in Birmingham, UK, and Darling Foundry in Montreal. Mark was selected to represent Canada at the Sydney Biennale in 1998 and the Liverpool Biennale in 2006. Her work is exhibited in collections of the National Gallery of Canada and Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal. Mark is represented by the Olga Korper Gallery in Toronto and the Platform Gallery in Seattle.
