Sarah Emerson graduated from the Atlanta College of Art in 1997 and went on to complete a Master’s Degree at Goldsmiths College in London, England in 2000. Over the last ten years she has exhibited her paintings in galleries throughout the United States and Europe, including at White Columns, New York, Cosmic Gallery, Paris, and Real Art Ways, Hartford, Connecticut. She lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia and over the years she has lived and worked in Boston, London, and New York. Her paintings have been featured on the cover of New American Paintings twice and this year she was a finalist for the Atlanta Artadia Award. She is represented by Whitespace Gallery in Atlanta and currently teaches painting and drawing at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
