DEVOTED TO ACTION ART AND PERFORMANCE.

The performative has taken root in more than one sector of human activity, a situation that suits
a context characterized by a growing “spectacularization” taking place in human relations and
encouraged by a demiurgic mass media, which determines the frequency and components of cultural
expression, whether dance, poetry, visual arts or cultural relations. This edition of Inter is above all active, taking position on acts that can be inserted into multiple zones
of socius, a dynamic system that lends itself to a taking stand. Artists’ actions are multiple, diversified
and take place almost everywhere. The performative artistic action is achieved and embodied in various
forms according to contexts and conditionings. Here also, it is an analyzer within norms, often against
these same norms. This issue puts forth the artist as performatively active!
