Born 1978 in Limassol, Cyprus. Christodoulos Panayiotou lives and works in Berlin, Germany. In 2005 Panayiotou won the 4th DESTE Prize from the DESTE Foundation for Contemporary Arts, Athens, Greece and 2008 Undo Foundation award – Künstlerhaus Bethanien. He has recently exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art Oxford, UK, 2006; the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Athens, 2007; Platform Garanti Contemporary Art Center Istanbul, 2006; and Den Frie, Copenhagen, 2007. His work has also been featured in a number of important international biennials including the Taipei Biennial in 2009 and Busan Biennial in South Korea in 2009. In addition, he was been awarded residencies at Künstlerhaus Bethanien Berlin and IASPIS in Sweden.
