In this lecture, Luiz Ernesto will present an overview of the 5th Biennial VentoSul, held in Curitiba, in 2009, approaching curatorial, artistic and production related issues. Will be shown some works and artists that participated in the event and the places where the 5th VentoSul was realized.

Also will be presented the 6th edition of the biennial, taking place in Curitiba in 2011 and some information about the Sao Paolo Biennial and the Mercosul Biennial, in Porto Alegre.
