The MANIF D’ART 4 colloquium, under the direction of Nicole Gingras, unites guest artists and thinkers to reflect on the complexity of our relationship with others. Designed to complement the exhibitions of the biennial, the colloquium will explore aesthetic experiences relating to listening, observation and mediation. A laboratory for thought, these two days of reflection and discussion will provide exposure to artistic practices in which words, the music of language, sound and image become determining elements. The event will also include film, video and sound creations.

Master Classes
[Advanced Workshops]
La Manif d’art offering master classes to various professional artists in the region in collaboration with five local artist-run centres.
These workshops, led by qualified professional artists, are designed to allow other professional artists to perfect or gain greater confidence in the production of artwork incorporating technology, to enlarge their career possibilities, or to replace harmful substances in their production with ecological materials.
