Polly Apfelbaum est n\u00e9e en 1955. Elle vit et travaille \u00e0 New York depuis 1978, apr\u00e8s l\u2019obtention de son baccalaur\u00e9at en arts \u00e0 la Tyler School of Art de Philadelphie. Ses r\u00e9alisations ont fait l\u2019objet d\u2019expositions individuelles au Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art (Helsinki), au National Museum of Women in the Arts (Washington) et \u00e0 l\u2019Institute for Contemporary Art de Philadelphie. Apfelbaum est laur\u00e9ate de la bourse de la Joan Mitchell Foundation et du Prix de Rome remis par l\u2019American Academy in Rome. Ses \u0153uvres figurent dans les collections du Museum of Modern Art (New York), du Mus\u00e9e d\u2019art moderne de la Ville de Paris et du Whitney Museum of American Art (New York).<\/p>\n
