Susan Philipsz<\/h3>\n

(Scotland, Germany)<\/p>\n

Susan Philipsz was born in 1965 in Glasgow, Scotland. She has a Fine Art BA from the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art (1993) and an MFA from Ulster University (1994). In the years since, she has had solo shows at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, the Tate Britain (London), MoMA\u00a0PS1 (New York) and Documenta 13 (Kassel). In 2010, she was awarded the Turner Prize. Her work is part of the permanent collection at the Carnegie Museum of Art (Pittsburgh), the Castello di Rivoli, and the Fundaci\u00f3 Joan Mir\u00f3. She lives in Berlin and is represented by the Tanya Bonakdar Gallery (New York).<\/p>\n
