Born in 1947, Reno Salvail holds a PhD in art and art science from the University of Provence (2001). He has shown his work in Quebec and other Canadian provinces, the United States, Scotland, and France. His solo exhibitions have included shows at VU in Quebec City, Action Art Actuel in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, L\u2019\u0152il de Poisson in Quebec City, and the Bang Centre in Saguenay. Salvail is also the creator of public art installations such as The Tracks of the Hare in the Blayeul mountains of the French Alps. In 2003 his work was featured in the book Le passage de la Grande Ourse. He lives and works in L\u2019Ange-Gardien, Quebec.<\/p>\n
