Haroon Mirza,\u00a0Solar Symphony 10 (Transverse Waves for Wayne)<\/em>, 2016\u00a0\u00a9 Idra Labrie<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n (London, England)<\/p>\n Born in 1977, Haroon Mirza holds a bachelor\u2019s in painting from the Winchester School of Art (2002), a master\u2019s in design from Goldsmiths College (2006) and a second master\u2019s from the Chelsea College of Art and Design (2007). His work has been shown at the Tate Britain (London), the Irish Museum of Modern Art (Dublin), the New Museum (New York), and the Istanbul Biennial. He has earned distinctions such as the Silver Lion at the 54th Venice Biennale, the Nam June Paik Art Center Prize, and the Calder Prize.
